The ICC T20 World Cup has reached its last match, with Pakistan

taking on England in the finale on November 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The tournament saw several players performing for their teams and winning many Man of the Match awards as well.

England captain Jos Buttler named their Player of the Tournament.

Buttler went with India’s Suryakumar Yadav, saying the freedom with which the Indian batter batted in the tournament was eye-catching.

“I think Suryakumar Yadav as he is the one who batted with freedom. He was very destructive from the start. Surya stood above all,” he said.

Yadav accumulated 239 runs in six matches at a strike-rate of 189.68. He hit three half-centuries in the global event.

Buttler, who is among the nine players shortlisted for the award, also lauded Sam Curran and Alex Hales for their performances.

For Babar Azam, it was Shadab Khan for his all-round performance.

“I think it should be Shadab Khan for his all-round performances. While he has been exceptional with the ball, his batting has also improved.”

He has taken 10 wickets at an economy of 6.59.

Suryakumar Yadav, Shadab Khan, Virat Kohli, Jos Buttler, Alex Hales, Sam Curran, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sikandar Raza, and Wanindu Hasaranga are part of the list.
